Every piece of gold jewellery and coin at Zarveek carries the official BIS + HUID hallmark, featuring a unique 6-digit alpha-numeric code that guarantees verified purity and complete traceability.

The 3 Symbols on BIS Hallmarked Gold

As per the updated BIS hallmarking guidelines, all Zarveek gold jewellery and coins include three key symbols, each representing assured quality and transparency:

a) BIS Standard Mark

The BIS logo (triangle symbol) is the primary mark of hallmark certification. It confirms that the gold has been tested at a BIS-certified facility, ensuring accurate purity assessment and government-verified authenticity.

b) Purity / Fineness Grade

This mark indicates the exact gold purity, such as 916 (22K), 750 (18K), 585 (14K), etc. Gold pricing is based on this purity level, offering customers complete clarity on quality and value.

c) 6-Digit Hallmark Unique Identification (HUID) Code

Each jewellery item carries a unique 6-digit alpha-numeric HUID code, making every piece one-of-a-kind. This code allows for digital verification of purity and origin, ensuring full traceability and eliminating any concerns about gold authenticity.
